The 1st ASIA Annual Conference was held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing, China, with 42 speakers invited from around the world. Over the course of the conference, our esteemed guests presented on 70 noteworthy academic papers in total.

The 2nd Annual Meeting of Arthroplasty Society in Asia was held collaboration with AORecon (ASIA2014) in Seoul, Korea concluded on November 8, 2014
Focusing on regional orthopedic issues, ASIA2014 provided valuable opportunities for furthering scientific dialogue and interpersonal networking for participating surgeons.
The meeting attracted participants from more than 20 countries. In addition to experts from
Asia-Pacific countries and regions including Australia, China, Hong Kong, Korea, India, Japan, Pakistan, Taiwan, and Thailand, a number of experts from across Europe and America joined us in taking the stage in ASIA2014. More than 80 representatives from China attended this second annual conference.

In Seoul, dozens of academic reports, AORecon symposia and ASIA symposia were held in succession, which presented cutting-edge medical technology in conjunction with recent academic developments, making the conference a true coming together of leading figures within the Asia arthroplasty community.
Our collaboration with AOReconstruction (AORecon) for ASIA2014 enabled us to focus substantially on the issue of“Current Technological Difficulties of Periprosthetic Fracture Treatment,” a forum that drew contributions from many of the world’s leading authorities and AORecon members who introduced the latest innovations and academic trends in this
growing field.
Indeed, the numbers of abstract submissions, participating countries, and contributing surgeons have reached record highs; ASIA2014 has also earned the firm support of top manufacturers in the industry. From these successes, it is clear that ASIA has continued to make
steady progress in key areas of international cooperation, association development, and academic research.
